A great film can be one of the most powerful ways to tell your stories simply and effectively.

We work collaboratively to make films that tell your story in the most creative way

  • We work with you to develop a brief that encompasses the key messages, tone and feel of your film.
  • We plan and project manage the research and the filming days to ensure they run smoothly and to time.
  • We work with contributors to help them feel comfortable in front of camera
  • We keep you involved in the editing process to make sure you get a film you love.

JW3

The Brief
JW3 is the innovative Jewish community centre in London. Mediastories has made a series of films for them reflecting the breadth of their cultural, educational and family events.

For each film we make we take time to understand the brief and exactly what JW3 wants to achieve. We have covered events from the launch of the centre, a timelapse of the creation of their beach, to the launch of the ice rink and high profile guest speakers such as Kevin Spacey. We also created a flagship film for their Gala dinner.

The Results
JW3 now have a series of films to share with their audiences to bring to life the variety of their events.

The Brief
Jewish Care is the largest health and social care organisation serving the Jewish Community in London and the South East. They have been a returning client, requesting films to bring to life their Jewish Care Bake Day  as well as a film to encourage people to leave a donation in their Legacy to Jewish Care.

The Results
Jewish Care now have a series of films to use extensively across their website and social media to increase their reach and impact.

Thanks so much for the wonderful legacy films you made for us. It was a pleasure to work with you and I am so thrilled with them.

I am sure they will encourage supporters to engage with us with the resultant increase in our future legacy income which will help secure Jewish Care’s future for many years to come.

Etgar quiz

The Brief
Etgar is a Jewish education programme that inspires a love of learning among children in Jewish primary schools through an exciting, team-based inter-school quiz for pupils in Year 5 (10 years old). They asked us to create a film to capture the aims of the project and the buzzing atmosphere on the day of the quiz.

The Results
Karen understood exactly what we wanted to achieve. She captured the essence of Etgar and suggested filming in a school in order to capture the enthusiasm of teachers and pupils. The result is a wonderful emotional and informative film, which will be at the core of our future fundraising efforts

Miriam Hyman Memorial Trust

The Brief
The Miriam Hyman Memorial Trust was set up after 7/7 in memory of Miriam Hyman who died in the London bombings. Her family wanted a film to launch their educational resource set up to combat intolerance and extremism.

The Results
It has been a crazy ten days with more media attention than we could have dreamed of. We showed the film for the first time at the launch of Miriam’s Vision which was primarily a press & media conference.  Then again at the Reception at the end of the bike ride to approximately 100 people.  You could have heard a pin drop and many were dewy eyed.  We have now sent out the film on Facebook and at the count a couple of days ago 1000 people had viewed it.  Viewing figures are growing.  There have been many compliments on the thorough professionalism with which the film has been made.  I’d like to thank you both again, not only for a fine job but also for the goodwill and positive energy you put into the production.
Mavis Hyman, Director of the MHMT
